Making iced coffee at home is absolutely one of the easiest recipes. Also, it costs much less and you can get a better size portion to your liking.

I love cooking and sharing, but am not use to writing it down and measuring everything. I kinda shoot from the hip when I cook, so bare with me while I learn to document all of this to where you can replicate it.

Leave comments or tips to help make this transition easier, especially if you are a food blogger. All though any blogger that is a “doer” not a “document-er” as you go, I am sure that you can offer up some great suggestions, too.

The Cabana Boys Iced Coffee Recipe

This is the Cabana Boys take on “How to make iced coffee at home.” For some of us out there that still actually make a real pot of coffee in the mornings this recipe will possible resonate with you.

We all usually have a cup or two left over in the pot when we get home in the afternoons. Well, during the hot Arkansas summer afternoons I really do not want to drink something hot. Instead, I have started making iced coffee out of those leftover cups of coffee.

If you think about it just set the carafe in the fridge. Leave it there while you are at work. When not using it to make a drink; take the leftover coffee and make ice cubes out of it.

Just pour the leftover coffee into a plastic ice cube tray. Let it freeze; then empty out into a freezer bag. All these leftovers will be the start of something very tasty. Here is how I make what I like. You will need the following.

Iced Coffee Recipe is a Perfect Afternoon Delight

I have learned it’s just crazy to pay what these cost when you purchase them out. You could even do this with your leftovers at the office, that is if there’s access to a Fridge/Freezer. By some chance there’s not one, get a great insulated cup. Stick your coffee cubes in it; add cream & flavor of choice.

These glasses will keep cold until your ready later in the day. [I recommend you not leaving it out in the heat though.] Let morning office coffee cool, then add it for an afternoon caffeine fix. If available just refrigerate it and make something super refreshing and tasty.

Maybe this will inspire you to not throw out the left over cup of java and I’ve shown you it’s super easy & how you can make iced coffee at home.
